Dr. Karamitopoulos is a board certified orthopedic surgeon who specializes in the care of babies, children, and adolescents. She treats a variety of pediatric orthopedic conditions including fractures and injuries, hip dysplasia, leg length discrepancy, and cerebral palsy.
A Yale University graduate, she received her medical degree from Jefferson Medical College. She completed her residency at the Rothman Institute at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and her fellowship at the Alfred I. DuPont Hospital for Children. Dr. Karamitopoulos is actively involved in research and resident education, has authored numerous publications, and has presented nationally and internationally. She treats patients at Hassenfeld Children’s Hospital Center for Children at NYU Langone in New York City.
